The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix safety car seat combines ergonomic design for maximum infant convenience with reliable protection on both sides thanks to its padding made of special impact-absorbent materials. Parents can have peace of mind knowing that the child is comfortable and safe. The extra soft head cushion will let the baby feel cozy even during long trips. The removable cover can be washed in a washing machine, which will help to keep the baby’s seat clean.
The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix baby seat is very easy to use and can be installed in the car using one of two bases, EasyFix or FamilyFix (not included). Thanks to the Click & Go system the safety seat can be easily placed on the base with one click. When used together with the FamilyFix base the baby seat can be reclined in 5 positions. If there is no ISOFIX base it is acceptable to attach the safety seat with a car seat belt. Both options use a rearward-facing installation.
In addition, the CabrioFix safety seat is very lightweight (3.35 kg), which will be an advantage when carrying the baby outside the car or during a walk. The baby car seat can also be attached to the chassis of a stroller.
The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix car seat complies with the ECE R44 safety standard, was tested by ADAC in conjunction with the FamilyFix base and received above-average ratings.

The safest place to install a baby/child car seat is the back seat of the car.
Installation of a safety seat in the car’s front seat is allowed only if the passenger airbag is deactivated!
Children under 4 years of age are recommended to travel in the car in the rearward-facing direction. This is due to the anatomical features of the growing child’s body and provides additional protection for the baby’s head and neck in road conditions (e.g., sudden braking).
